Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and drive qualified traffic to our websites.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and market trend evaluation to identify growth opportunities.
- Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexation, site speed, mobile optimization, and Core Web Vitals.
- Implement on-page optimization including title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, internal linking, and URL structures.
- Optimize existing content and provide SEO guidelines for content creators to ensure alignment with search intent and best practices.
- Manage technical implementations including structured data markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, and redirects.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO tools.
- Collaborate with content writers, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital initiatives.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes, search engine guidelines, and industry trends to maintain competitive advantage.
- Generate monthly SEO performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve technical issues affecting search performance including broken links, duplicate content, and crawl errors.
- Develop and maintain SEO documentation including processes, guidelines, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SEO in a commercial or agency environment.
- Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving measurable traffic growth.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
- Solid understanding of technical SEO including site architecture, page speed optimization, and mobile-first indexing.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic understanding of JavaScript and how they impact SEO.
- Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress, Shopify, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with local SEO, e-commerce SEO, or B2B SEO is highly desirable.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and user experience (UX) best practices.
- Knowledge of link building strategies and off-page SEO tactics.
